Only on rare occasions does the plumbing and heating repair work of Fred Smith Plumbing & Heating require mechanics the use of a “supported scaffold”, as defined by Local Law 52 of the City of New York. That is, Fred Smith Plumbing’s work rarely requires the use of a supported scaffold that is forty feet in height or more. But, when that rare occasion does arise, the Fred Smith team of expert mechanics and helpers are prepared, certified, and ready to get the job done safely. Philip Kraus, President of Fred Smith Plumbing & Heating, reminds everyone that “safety is always our first and foremost value. Working in a safe manner and in accordance with all work place safety guidelines and regulations is the way we approach every job at Fred Smith Plumbing.” To that end, Fred Smith Plumbing welcomed Mr. Tom Ferrante of TSC Training Academy on June 20, 2013 for the purpose of conducting the 4 Hour User Supported Scaffold Safety Training Course reviewed by the Department of Buildings and required for the issuance of the supported scaffold certificate. Over twelve (12) field personnel have now received their Supported Scaffold User Certificate issued by the DOB.
When you call Fred Smith Plumbing you get an expert on the phone who can solve your problem fast. Most days, that expert will probaby be owner Philip Kraus.
