Plumbing/Toilet: “Fred Smith Plumbing is friendly, efficient, and cleans up after the job.”

Dear Philip,

I needed my toilet to be reset. I called last Friday, May 24, 2013 and spoke to Steve. I explained what I needed, he told me the cost and scheduled an appointment for Friday, May 31st between 12 PM and 3 PM. I also explained that my building required a Certificate of liability and Workmen’s Compensation. He told me to email Angelo T. with all of my information. As per Steve’s instructions I emailed Angelo T. with my request and within half an hour I had received all the required documents from Phoebe Lin. On Wednesday, May 29th I called to confirm my appointment. I spoke to Joshua and explained that my building was very strict about the working hours and requested that the plumber come sooner than 1 PM. He confirmed my appointment and changed the time to be between 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM. Today Mark, the plumber came promptly at 9:30 AM. He was friendly, efficient and cleaned up after he finished resetting my toilet.

I am a very satisfied new customer. I would like to thank you and all your staff for being friendly, polite, and efficient. I appreciate good customer service. In the future I will definitely recommend your company to anyone who is looking for a plumber.

Plumbing/Shower: “Fred Smith Plumbing responded immediately and now both showers work perfectly!”

Dear Mr. Kraus

I just wanted to thank you for your assistance in getting our KWC showers fixed. Jim Kenney responded immediately and continued to follow up. Shawn Colkins emailed me that the parts were not available to Fred Smith Plumbing and urged me to contact KWC directly. I did and forwarded the photos of my cartridge and integral stop that Shawn had sent me.

Within a few days, I received four new stops/check valves from KWC at no charge (within the warranty), and Jim immediately scheduled an appointment. The parts were installed yesterday by Sean Dimone and the filters cleaned. Both showers now work perfectly!

Dear Mr. Kraus,

I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am that Fred Smith. Your mechanic was able to fix my heating system. It is a big relief for my wife and I, considering our babies’ room was without heat for most of last winter.

There were at least three other companies that we had contacted to deal with the problem over the last year. They all suggested different things and none of them were able to solve the problem. Then fortunately a friend referred me to your company. Gary was very professional and courteous. He sent over your mechanic who was evidently a lot more knowledgeable and experienced than any of the other “specialists” who set foot in my apartment. He knew what needed to be done and did it.

Once again hats off to Fred Smith. I will recommend you to anyone and everyone who needs an outstanding and reliable plumbing and heating company.

Dear Mr. Kraus,

Many times people write to complain when they think something might not be right, however, we forget to say “thank you” when things do go right.

Just wanted to let you know how much we appreciated the professional and pleasant manner of the three men that came last week to do a very dirty and difficult repair on our pipes encased in cement. They worked hard and long to get things back to normal and were so very pleasant.
